Aariz took photos of himself with the iPad today..and his only 15 months old!
i’ve not been on here in a while. was back in Alor Setar over the weekend to visit my inlaws. Aariz was a good boy and sat in his car seat throughout the entire journey - 4hrs drive one way. Was a good trip, i feel more relaxed in Alor Setar. I guess small cities, people are less in a hurry to do every little thing like here in KL.
I have been waiting and waiting for the tumblr app on the new blackberry bold 9790. I have tonnes of pics to upload. well, it is mostly of Aariz. But I’d still want to post them here.
I had also gone for my follow up checkup for my breast. The fibroadenoma had shrunk from 2.77cm to 2.07 cm. So, my dr says i don’t need surgery for now. yippie!
So Aariz locked himself in the bedroom this morning. And of course a one year old doesn’t know how to twist the door knob open. Well, to begin with, his crib is next to the door, near the door knob side. He could reach it now. While I was having my breakfast, I heard him on the baby monitor, babbling to himself. So, I thought ‘my baby is up’. I was happily walking to the room waiting to greet him, when I turned the door knob, I was confused for a while. Did I lock the door before I left the room? Then I could hear him playing with the door knob. Then I was screaming, ‘Aariz! open the door! twist it open!’ And he started crying cause he heard my voice and wanted to get out of his crib. My keys were in the room and there was no spare key. We got to break open the attached bathroom door after about 20 minutes…it felt like forever…I was already crying then. I’m so glad my baby’s ok.
I’m keeping the positive vibes going. I do feel good though. Still in the process of realigning a few things here and there.
I am sitting for an exam to enter the Public Services this Saturday. I’m not sure if that’s what I want to do. But I thought go for it first, if you get the offer, think about it later. And to think I’d get myslef together already at this age!
i’ve been pretty busy lately, between my job and baking cakes for my friend’s bakeshop. i enjoy baking, but with a full time job, and my insurance business just starting and a 1 year old..it is exhausting. I still want to keep it up for now. We’ll see how it goes in the next few weeks.
We all have our own goals in our careers, in our personal lives. Sometimes, we look at others and we inspire to be like them. But our paths or stories are all different and what makes the difference between those who make it and those who don’t is making the best out of what we have. As a wise friend once told me, ‘life is what you choose it to be. So choose wisely’
